(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh paid a courtesy visit to Lao Prime Minister Thoongloun Sisoulith in Vientiane on Thursday on the sidelines of the ongoing 48th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting and related meetings.

Mr. Anh thanked the Lao government for helping the trade sectors of the two countries to improve their cooperation.
Prime Minister Sisoulith asked Minister Tuan Anh to monitor the progress of Vietnam’s hydropower plants and mining projects in Laos and encouraged Vietnamese businesses to invest in producing consumer goods and wood furniture.
