(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Standing Committee on Wednesday discussed revisions to the Law on Officials of the Vietnam People’s Army. Some deputies said that conditions for military promotion should be specified, particularly the general rank as well as salary and housing for military officials. They agreed that the Prime Minister has the authority to appoint or dismiss deputy ministers or equivalent posts in ministries and ministerial-level agencies.
