(VOVworld)- The New Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland and Lithuania Pham Kien Thiet has presented President Truong Tan Sang’s letter of credentials to Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite. At the reception, Ambassador Thiet promised to do his utmost to strengthen bilateral ties. President Dalia Grybauskaite lauded the development of bilateral friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. The Lithuanian President said Lithuanian authorities were ready to help the Vietnamese ambassador to fulfill his task. Two-way trade turnover between the two countries in 2013 was only 50 million USD.  Lithuania has not been involved in investment projects in Vietnam, however both countries are discussing agreements on double taxation avoidance and visa exemptions for diplomatic passport holders.
