(VOVworld) – On Monday, Nha Trang seaport in Khanh Hoa province held a ceremony to receive the first tourist boat of 2016, the Volendam of the Netherlands carrying 1,400 passengers aboard. Phan Thi Thanh Truc, Deputy director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “We hope that the new year will bring about positive changes in tourism. We will continue to upgrade seaports to boost tourism as part of our development plan.”

Da Nang city received the first flight with 180 foreign tourists on board. The tourists from Macau, China were received with dragon dances and presented with flowers and Tet gifts.
