(VOVworld) - Bac Kan province has hosted a ceremony to confer Laotian Orders and Medals to Vietnamese experts and volunteers who served in Laos for national liberation and revolution.

Speaking in the event, the provincial People’s Committee Chairperson urged the veterans and experts to do more to promote local social economic development and educating the younger generation. Hundreds of Bac Kan locals fought and worked in Laos during its resistance wars for peace and independence.
