(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue chaired a meeting of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council on the action program for the second half of the year and for the 2016-2021 term.

Mr. Hue asked the member agencies to work out action programs focusing on consulting monetary policy and major projects in this field. The Council will hold the first meeting in June to assess the management of the macro-economy during the first half of the year and give consultation to the Government and Prime Minister to fulfill the economic development targets for the rest of the year and work on the Council’s action program for the term. The Deputy Prime Minister asked for the Council’s consultation in some projects on restructuring state budget spending and public debt, dealing with bad debt in credit institutions, mobilizing gold and preventing the dollarization of the economy.
