(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Chief of the State Steering Committee for the 132^nd General Assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union chaired a meeting to ensure security and logistics for the event. Mr. Phuc asked sub-committees to make thorough preparations to ensure safety, security and health care for the delegates. He stressed the need to work out thorough plans on granting visas, ensuring traffic flows, and preparing airports and immigration procedures. Phuc said ensuring safety and security would contribute to the success of the event thus raising the prestige of the Vietnamese National Assembly, an active and responsible member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and promoting the image of Vietnam, its land and people to the world.
