(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Science and Technology held a press conference yesterday to launch the first-ever International Agriculture Festival of the Mekong Delta, which will run March 9-13 in the city of Can Tho.
The festival aims to support agricultural development for the Mekong Delta region through research and application of advanced science and technology. It also targets building trademarks to increase global competitiveness.
Major activities of the event include meetings of scientists and businesses to deal with current issues regarding boosting agriculture productivity and produce quality.
