(VOVworld) – A seminar introducing Son La province’s potentials and investment opportunities and calling for investment in Moc Chau National Tourism Zone was held on Tuesday in Hanoi. Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Son La provincial People’s Committee Cam Ngoc Minh hailed the Prime Minister’s decision to approve a master plan for the Moc Chau National Tourism Zone's development by 2020 with a vision until 2030. Covering an area of more than 200,000 ha in the two districts of Moc Chau and Van Ho, the zone is projected to become a key tourism area of the province, as well as of the whole midland and northern mountainous region. It will feature unique tourism products combined with natural landscapes and ethnic cultures. The zone is expected to welcome 1.2 million visitors by 2020 and 3 million by 2030.
