(VOVworld) – On Thursday, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung received the visiting Deputy Chairman of the Philippines’ National Journalism Club, Benny Antiporda, who is attending the 40^th founding anniversary of the Confederation of ASEAN Journalists.

At the meeting Mr. Antiporda spoke highly of the attention of the Vietnamese National Assembly and government to Vietnam Journalists’ Association and its members.

He expressed his belief that as the future confederation’s chairmanship, the Vietnam Journalists Association will continue to make the confederation a strong and reliable organization in the world.

Chairman Hung said he hopes the confederation will further improve its operational apparatus, position and role, noting that ASEAN reporters will maintain the solidarity, friendship among the bloc’s members and further introduce their national images to the world.
