(VOVworld) – NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said the Vietnamese National Assembly is ready for an exchange of information and dialogues with the European parliament based on cooperation and in a constructive spirit.

Chairman Hung who is also the President of the IPU132 made the statement at Tuesday’s reception in Hanoi for deputy President of the European parliament, Dimitris Papadimoulis.

Mr. Papadimoulis praised Vietnam’s preparations for the assembly and said the move reflects on Vietnam’s improved status in the international arena. He said the European parliament will cooperate with Vietnam in all fields and pledged to do his utmost to sign and implement the Vietnam EU Free Trade Agreement soon.
