She reaffirmed that the Vietnamese community in Laos was an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation.     “The Embassy should work with relevant agencies to organize Vietnamese language classes for our children in Laos. It’s necessary to do so because we have to preserve our traditions wherever we go. Overseas Vietnamese will think of their homeland and want to promote national identity. The Embassy should be a common house for protecting the rights of Vietnamese people abroad.”

Ms. Ngan appreciated the success of some Vietnamese businesses in Laos and their contributions to the local country.

She also attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition on the Ho Chi Minh Legendary Trail in Laos. More than 100 photos taken by war correspondents reflected the glorious period when the Vietnamese and Lao armies fought and won together. The exhibition will close on October 6. After that the collection will be given to the Museum of Lao Army’s History.
