NA Standing Committee discusses revised law on Civil Judgment Enforcement

(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Standing Committee on Monday debated the revised law on Civil Judgment Enforcement, which will be submitted to the National Assembly’s session in May.

Speaking at the closing session, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu, said it’s a must to adjust unsuitable content in the current law and improve its enforcement in civil cases. In order to reducing the number of pending cases, Mr. Luu stressed the necessity of identifying the responsibilities of the court and people’s committees in executing civil cases. He proposed that the law should define the agencies who would be in charge of the state-owned assets and cash to ensure the state’s interest and resolve arising problems.

The same day, the NA Standing Committee discussed the revised law on Enterprises. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung requested that the revised law must define the management of trade frauds and fake and counterfeit products. National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said the revised law on Enterprises have to mention the relationship between employees and employers more specifically.
