(VOVworld) - National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien received a delegation of US members of parliament on Monday in Hanoi.

At a reception for Senator Tom Carper and Congressmen Joaquin Castro and Beto O’Rourke, Hien said the visit will contribute to enhancing relations between their legislative bodies and the people of Vietnam and the US.
He said the two law-making agencies have exchanged many high-ranking delegations recently and leaders of the US Senate and House of Representatives and the congressmen themselves have worked to foster relations between the two countries.
