NA chairman receives IPU Secretary General

(VOVworld) - Vietnam will do its utmost to successfully organize the 132nd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) General Assembly next year in Hanoi, said National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung at a Friday meeting with the union’s new Secretary General Martin Chungong in Hanoi. Mr. Hung congratulated Mr. Chungong for being elected as the IPU’s new Secretary General. He expressed his hope that the IPU will assist Vietnam in organizing the Union’s 132nd General Assembly.
