(VOVworld) – The 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly on Friday heard and discussed a report on draft revisions to the 2015 Criminal Code. The deputies agreed that the amendments do not affect major criminal policies approved by the 13th National Assembly and related laws.

The same day, the National Assembly discussed a report on revisions to the 2010 resolution on tax exemptions and the reduction of agricultural land.
The National Assembly’s Financial Committee said tax reductions on agricultural land use by households and individuals is about 34.3 billion VND annually and will not affect state revenues.
The government proposes that more people benefit from tax exemptions for agricultural land use, to promote agricultural production and investment.
