(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has urged Vietnamese ambassadors and chief representatives abroad to give the Party and State regular recommendations on measures for Vietnam’s successful integration into the world.

Ms. Ngan made the request at a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 29^th Diplomatic Conference. She noted that the diplomats should help Vietnam’s local administrations in addressing challenges, work for national interests, and protect Vietnamese citizens overseas. The National Assembly Chairwoman also urged the diplomats to work with the host countries’ authorities on creating favourable environment for Overseas Vietnamese to integrate into the communities there. She also called on the diplomatic sector to promote Vietnam’s tradition, culture, and language.
