(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan applauded the State Treasury’s efforts to contribute to national industrialization and modernization.

At a working session on Friday, the Chairwoman urged the agency to advise the National Assembly and government how to use effectively resources for socio-economic development: “The Party, State, and people have entrusted the State Treasury with the task of managing a huge amount of money and assets. So the State Treasure should be responsible for undertaking this task. The money paid by tax payers should be spent properly for furthering socio-economic development and safeguarding national defense and security.”

The National Assembly Chairwoman asked the Ministry of Finance and the State Treasure to work on building the Law on State Treasury.
