National Assembly deputies brief voters on important national issues

(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies from Dac Nong province met with voters in Ea Po commune, Chu Giut district on Tuesday. They briefed them on results of the recent National Assembly session and developments concerning China’s illegal placement of oilrig Haiyang 981 in Vietnamese waters. The voters agreed with the National Assembly’s communiqué regarding its stance on the East Sea issue. Vi Van Chuc in Nam Tien hamlet said: “I agree with the party and state policies on politics, culture, society, and diplomatic relations with other countries. I found the party and state policy on the East Sea issue very solid with a resolute resistance to all violations of Vietnam’s territory.”

On the same day, National Assembly deputies of Can Tho city also met with voters from Cai Rang and Binh Thuy districts. Many of the voters contributed their opinions to a number of issues concerning anti-corruption, poverty reduction, health insurance, and traffic safety.
