(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria hosted a ceremony on Sunday to mark the 71st National Day.

Addressing the celebration, Charge d’Affaires Nguyen Viet Ha underlined the significance of the event and reviewed glorious milestones in the history of the Vietnamese nation since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945.

With regards to the relations between Vietnam and Algeria, Mr. Ha reiterated the traditional friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two countries in various areas, especially politics and economics which will surely develop further in the future.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy promoted images of the Vietnamese nation and its people through film screenings, publications, and the introduction of Vietnamese cuisine and the achievements of bilateral trade cooperation.
