The six-lane road would be 4.3 kilometres long and run parallel with Cong Hoa Street, extending from Tran Quoc Hoan Street and connecting to Cong Hoa Street at a section near Truong Chinh Street. The road is expected to cost more than  60 million USD.  The city’s Urban Traffic Management Unit No 1 is working closely with agencies under the Ministry of Defence on the design of the project. In addition, a new airport terminal with a capacity of 10 million passengers a year will be built on Hoang Hoa Tham Street in Tan Binh district to ease traffic at and around the country’s busiest airport.
