(VOVworld) – US President Barack Obama vowed Tuesday to act quickly to take Cuba off the list of terrorism sponsors once he gets a State Department recommendation. Obama said there is a real opportunity and Washington is going to continue to move forward on the removal. He expressed his hope that the US can soon open an embassy in Cuba and that the two countries can start regular contacts and consultations on issues of mutual concern.
