Overseas Vietnamese celebrate Lunar New Year festival

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese expatriates have enjoyed get-togethers to celebrate the Lunar New Year festival (Tet) at their residencies.

Overseas Vietnamese in Tokyo, Japan, offered best wishes to others and wished firm development for Vietnam.

At an event in Canberra, Australia, Vietnamese Ambassador Luong Thanh Nghi highlighted Vietnam’s recent achievements, which are attributed to overseas Vietnamese and foreign friends. Vietnamese people living in Australia have preserved the traditional culture, promoted solidarity, and turned their hearts to the homeland.

In Pretoria, South Africa, Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Van Dung urged local Vietnamese to uphold their patriotism, unity, and industriousness while working to tighten Vietnam-South Africa relations.
