(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has welcomed the goodwill of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) to help promote Japan’s investment in Vietnam.

At Tuesday’s reception in Hanoi for Atsusuke Kawada, JETRO’s Chief Representative in Vietnam, Mr. Phuc asked Vietnamese agencies involved to work closely with JETRO to prepare for promotion programs, especially in communications to introduce Vietnam’s investment and trade potentials.

Mr. Kawada said Japan has become the second largest foreign investor in Vietnam with 549 investment projects. The JETRO Vietnam chief noted that his organization has provided consultancy to many Japanese companies seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam.
