PM receives leaders of Japanese bank and Chinese group

(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held separate meetings in Hanoi on Wednesday for leaders of a Japanese bank and a Chinese group.

At the reception for Takashi Oyamada, CEO and President of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU), Mr. Phuc said Vietnam is working hard to improve its business climate to attract more foreign investors, including investors from Japan.

He said he hopes Japanese businesses will pay more attention to the Vietnamese market and make Japan Vietnam’s biggest investor. According to Prime Minister Phuc, Vietnamese enterprises want more cooperation with Japanese partners to learn from their experience in management, production, and business.

At the meeting with Sun Yafang, Chairwoman of the Chinese Huawei Group, Mr. Phuc said he hopes Huawei will increase its cooperation with Vietnamese firms in information security.

He said the Vietnamese government will always create the best possible conditions for cooperation.

Sun said Huawei is keen on infrastructure development and guaranteed the group’s information security products in Vietnam.
