(VOVworld) – At a meeting with President Jin Liqun of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing on Friday, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said Vietnam expects AIIB’s help in resources and sharing of management experience, as Vietnam is on its path of renewal, industrialization-modernization, and international integration, of which infrastructure development is one of the 3 strategic components.

Mr. Jin promised to cooperate closely with Vietnam in designing future projects and do his best to ensure cooperation yielded practical results.

Receiving the Chairman of the Sunwah Group, Jonathan Choi, Mr.Trong said Vietnam always creates favorable conditions for foreign investors to operate in the country. Mr. Choi discussed his group’s achievements in the processing and exporting of seafood and coffee, real estate, and finance, as well as charity programs. He said he hopes for further assistance from the Vietnamese Government in expanding the group’s operations in Vietnam.
