Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong visits Tan Trao Special National Historical Relic

(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Friday visited Tan Trao Special National Historical Relic in the northern province of Tuyen Quang. He visited Na Nua hut where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from May to August, 1945, preparing for the general uprising to gain victory and establish the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong also stopped over at Tan Trao communal house where the National Congress meeting took place on 16-17 August, 1945 which adopted the decision on the general uprising to seize power across the country.

The Party leader visited Hoang Trung Dan’s house where General Vo Nguyen Giap also lived and worked from May to August, 1945, typing the first military order of the National Uprising Committee which launched the general uprising in August, 1945.

In his autography book, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said the Party and State had always been grateful for the great contributions and affection of the people in Tuyen Quang province towards President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam’s revolution.

While working with the Party Committee of Son Duong district, Tan Trao commune, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong said Son Duong should fully exploit the transportation advantages, with their favorable conditions for developing agriculture, forestry and tourism.
