(VOVworld)- The Secretariat of the Party’s Central Committee held a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday with 300 Party members who were members of the Party Committees in enemy prisons during the anti-US war. In his address, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said the Party and State greatly appreciated the Party members’ activities in prisons during the war. The Party leader said revolutionary prisoners contributed greatly to the success of Vietnam’s revolution. He expressed his hope that the Party members will uphold the revolutionary tradition, contribute to national development, and set a bright example for younger generations.
