(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received a delegation of Morocco’s Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), led by General Secretary Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah in Hanoi on Tuesday. The Vietnamese party leader said he hoped with the support of the people and the efforts of political parties including the PPS, the Moroccan government would obtain major achievements in its national development, raising its regional and global status. He praised cooperation between the two countries in recent years and said that Vietnam hopes to strengthen cooperation with African nations, including Morocco. The delegation held talks with the Vietnamese Communist Party delegation, led by head of the External Relations Commission Hoang Binh Quan. The two sides discussed global issues of mutual concern and ways to promote friendship and cooperation between the two parties as well as mutual support at regional and global forums.
