Peruvian gastronomy introduced in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – A gastronomy week in Hanoi is aimed at introducing Peru’s culinary culture and beauties to local people through various activities such as a cuisine festival, a painting exhibition, a workshop on tourism in Peru and farm produce, and a music and fashion show.

Luis Tsuboyama, the Chargé d’affaires at the Peruvian Embassy in Vietnam, told reporters on Wednesday that the week is being held by the Embassy to mark the 22nd anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and Peru’s hosting of the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in November. The second such event will run until September 27th.
