Addressing the two-day event, To Huy Rua, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the commission, emphasized the importance of personnel work in Party building, especially preparations of Party congresses at all levels. He said the success of congresses at all levels is decisive to the success of the 12th National Congress, contributing to maintaining and promoting the Party’s role in national construction and defense. Rua also noted that the Politburo has set forth strict requirements for the work, urging for practical and effective reform to ensure that the principle of democracy as well as the Party’s regulations are fully observed.
