The meeting anticipating the 125th birth anniversary of Uncle Ho on May 19th was attended by former President Tran Duc Luong, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission on Communications and Education Dinh The Huynh, and political experts.

Huynh said the humanitarian values of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology are reflected in his life, career, morality, and lifestyle. The highest goal of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism is for man to be completely liberated and become a true master of his country and the world.

This has been the foundation and guideline for the Communist Party of Vietnam during its revolutionary struggles in the past and the current national construction and development effort. Huynh said: “President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology of socialism and its building, together with the Marxism-Leninism, is the basis for the Vietnamese Party’s development. According to President Ho Chi Minh, socialism makes people prosperous, the country strong, and provides everyone jobs and food. Socialism will not only protect the nation’s achievements, but also make the nation happy and free and promote global peace.”
