(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s participation in the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan will create a new driving force for trade co-operation.

President Truong Tan Sang made the remark at a Sunday meeting with Speaker of the Kazakh Parliament’s Lower House Zhakupov Kabibolla Kabenovich, who is attending the 132^nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly (IPU-132) in Hanoi. Mr Sang said Vietnam hopes to foster co-operation with Kazakhstan and suggested enterprises play a greater role in strengthening trade co-operation ties between the two countries.
