(VOVworld) - Vietnam and Israel should promote cooperation in technology transfer, research and development, said President Tran Dai Quang at Tuesday’s reception in Hanoi for visiting Chairman of Israel’s IMI Systems Ltd, Yitzhak Aharonovitch.

President Quang said he hopes Mr. Aharonovitch will continue contributing to promoting the bilateral relationship, adding that Vietnam will create favorable conditions for foreign investors including those from Israel to do business in Vietnam. Mr. Quang spoke highly of Israel’s defense technology.

The Israeli guest expressed his hopes that his group will expand cooperation with Vietnam in airport security, counter-terrorism, education and training.
