Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung meets with Hungarian President

He said the Vietnamese government wants to bolster cooperation with the Hungarian government to implement agreements in economics, trade, and investment. He proposed that the two sides increase the effectiveness of their Intergovernmental Committee and that Hungary support the early signing of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the EU, which will also boost trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The Hungarian President said Hungary wants to import agricultural products from Vietnam and wants to increase cooperation in pharmaceuticals and water management and supply. He said Hungary will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese experts who are being trained in nuclear power in Hungary to join the process of designing and building a new nuclear power plant in Hungary.
