(VOVworld) – At a meeting on Thursday with Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Minister of Public Security Somkeo Silavong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said the Vietnamese government supported the cooperation on human resource training between the two countries’ Ministries of Public Security.

He urged the two sides to enhance cooperation to fight against hostile forces, ensure security and order, and build a border of peace, stability and development. Phuc asked the two ministries to sign legal agreements in justice and consultation and support each other at regional and global forums on anti-crime. The Lao Minister said that at the earlier talks, the two Ministries agreed to enhance cooperation on the basis of agreements signed by Party, state, and government leaders of the two countries.
