(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the Nagasaki prefecture to increase its cooperation with Quang Nam province and other Vietnamese localities in automobile manufacturing and shipbuilding.

Prime Minister Phuc made the call at a meeting on Thursday with the Governor of Nagasaki prefecture Nakamura Norimichi and a business delegation. Governor Nirmichi said that since 2015, Nagasaki had organized 100 business delegations to go to Vietnam to participate in Japanese culture festivals in Hoi An as well as to seek investment opportunities in Vietnam. The prefecture has a close relationship with Quang Nam province and plans to invite Quang Nam leaders to visit Nagasaki later this year. The Nagasaki governor thanked Vietnam for selecting Nagasaki as a training venue for Vietnamese athletes to prepare for the 2020 Olympics.
