(VOVworld)- On Thursday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received in Hanoi Mr. Luis Enrique Gonzalez Acosta, the President of Cuba’s news agency Prensa Latina.

Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister praised the effective cooperation between the Vietnam News Agency and Cuba’s Prensa Latina and their contribution to the two countries’ national development. He urged the two agencies to further strengthen cooperation. Mr. Acosta said Cuba treasured the increased cooperation between the two news agencies on a par with bilateral political and diplomatic ties and the special, rare friendship between the two nations. Also that day, the General Director of the Vietnam News Agency Nguyen Duc Loi and the President of Cuba’s news agency Prensa Latina held talks on ways to step up bilateral cooperation.
