Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc receives Spain’s Ambassador
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc appreciated the results of cooperation between Vietnam and Spain recently, particularly a trade revenue of 3 billion USD last year and 2 billion USD in the first half of this year.

At a meeting with Spain’s Ambassador to Vietnam Alfonso Tena Garcia in Hanoi on Thursday, Mr. Phuc said both countries should increase their cooperation in all sectors in accordance with their strategic partnership. He said Vietnam has offered conditions for foreign investors to do business in Vietnam.
Ambassador Garcia agreed with Prime Minister Phuc’s suggestions, including activities to mark their 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2017. He said Spain backed the signing of the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement and Spanish businesses want to invest in infrastructure in Vietnam, including the Metro project in Ho Chi Minh City.
