(VOVworld)- During a working session with Nam Dinh provincial authorities on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc called for efforts to develop Nam Dinh into a hub of the Red River southern delta.

He requested that the province strengthens agricultural restructuring, and disbursement of investment capital to be classified as a new rural area by 2020. Prime Minister Phuc agreed on need to develop infrastructure, the supporting industry and the handcraft villages while protecting the environment. He said Nam Dinh should give incentives to invest in garments, textile, automobile and retail markets.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited a new rural area model in Hai Ha commune, Hai Hau district. He urged the local officials and people to increase productivity, and expand production links to help improve local living standards. Nam Dinh has successfully implemented the national target program of for new rural development as 54% of its communes are now classified as new rural areas.
