(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Deputy Vu Duc Dam had a working session with the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in Hanoi on Friday.

The Prime Minister said the government is ready to listen to any experts’ view on ideas for national development. He recognized the union member’s consultancy on national social economic development policies and programs. Mr. Phuc said: “I appreciate the union’s becoming a key factor in ensuring science and technology’s driving force in modern socialist-oriented market economy development with expanded international integration towards sustainable growth. I praised Vietnamese scientists’ research and contribution to social economic development.”

The Prime Minister urged the Union to mobilize overseas Vietnamese experts’ contribution to national development while raising public awareness on science and technology.
