(VOVworld) – After arriving in Dien Bien city on Saturday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung visited and delivered gifts to people who are relocated by the Son La hydro-power project in Noong Bua ward, Dien Bien province.

Prime Minister Phuc praised locals for giving their land to the national construction project and local administrations for quickly stabilizing the lives of people in the resettlement areas by providing jobs, vocational training and helping them to develop household economy. He expressed his hope that local people will uphold their tradition, build their new countryside, and give priority to children’s education, while forging good neighborliness to ensure social order and peace.
