Promoting IT application in Mekong Delta’s agriculture
(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Can Tho branch held a conference to define development trends and investment needs in the IT sector and promote IT application in agricultural production in the Mekong Delta. Conference participants agreed on the need for strong regional IT infrastructure and qualified IT human resources.

According to IT experts, the sector has not been involved in agricultural production in Vietnam. The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association reported that Vietnam’s agricultural productivity is lower than that of Laos and Cambodia, and the only remedy is IT.
