Phung Huu Phu, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, said: "Promoting Vietnamese cultural and human values is of great importance as Vietnam speeds up its industrialization, modernization, and international integration. It’s vital to uphold our fine time-honoured traditions while absorbing new values of humanity."
Delegates agreed that the typical characteristics of Vietnamese people were that they are patriotic, compassionate, united, honest, industrious, and creative.
