(VOVworld)- Dien Bien province reports that voter turnout for the May 22 election for deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils reached 99.9%. 6 of the 10 National Assembly candidates in Dien Bien are elected, while 51 of the 86 candidates for the People’s Councils are elected.

Ethnic minority people cast their ballots for May 22 election

In Tien Giang province, the provincial electoral council said 8 National Assembly candidates and 64 People’s Councils’ candidates are elected.

Tuyen Quang provincial electoral council announced that 6 National Assembly candidates and 59 People’s Councils’ candidates are elected. 6 constituencies have to conduct additional voting to elect candidates for the communal People’s Councils.
