(VOVworld) – Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Film Studio on Tuesday held a press conference to promote the film “Road to Dien Bien”. The 25-episode series, which will mark the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, will be screened on Channel 1 at 8:30PM every Friday beginning April 24^th.

Director Bui Tuan Dung said that the series would recount the hardships and difficulties of those who helped to repair roads and transport logistics to the battlefield. It reflects the strength of Vietnamese people’s war and love for the homeland, among people, comrades and families as well as the courage and fighting spirit of the Vietnamese people and army in the historic Dien Bien Phu victory.
