Russia accuses Turkey of trading oil with IS - ảnh 1
Russia's President Vladimir Putin

(VOVworld) – Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said Moscow has evidence that its plane, SU-24, was shot down by Turkey to protect oil deliveries for the ISIL terrorist group, and that oil from IS-controlled fields is being exported to Turkey on an industrial scale. Putin told a press conference at the UN climate summit COP21 in Paris that it was a huge mistake for Turkey to down the Russian warplane in Syria. Meanwhile, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that he will resign from office if Russia’s allegations can be proven. He said that Turkey imported oil and gas via legal channels, and added that his government will take cautious steps in response to Russia’s economic sanctions on Turkey.
