(VOVworld) - Russia has dismissed the west’s reports that Moscow is allegedly mobilizing troops to its border with Ukraine. Intelligence agencies from the US and some EU countries have said that Russia has deployed a total of 30,000 soldiers along its border with Ukraine’s eastern part.
Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the intelligence information was untrue and failed to help stabilize the situation in Ukraine. The Russian navy also said it does not plan to deploy Mistral-class helicopter carriers in the Black Sea.

In related news, General Valeri Guerassimov, Chief of Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said that the Russian flag had been hoisted at 193 military bases in Crimea.
