Russian President Putin on tour of Middle East

(VOVworld)—Russian President Vladimir Putin today /on Monday leaves on a three-stop tour of the Middle East, including Israel, Palestine, and Jordan to discuss events in the region as well as seeking a peaceful solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The first stop for Putin is Israel where he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will discuss regional global politics and developing bilateral cooperation in economics, culture and high-tec industries but also on international issues, including the Palestinian-Israeli settlement, the situation in Syria and Iran's nuclear program. After Israel, the Russian leader tomorrow/ on Tuesday will first visit  Palestine before traveling to Jordan.
