Second Eastern Economic Forum to take place in Vladivostok in early September

(VOVworld) – The Russian Foreign Ministry held a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday with representatives of the embassies and diplomatic corps of APEC members in Moscow to introduce the second Eastern Economic Forum slated for early September in Vladivostok. Alechxandr Osipov, Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of developing Russia’s Far East, said the Forum is as big as the annual economic forum in Saint Petersburg.

A meeting with representatives from the embassies and diplomatic agencies of APEC countries in Russia to introduce the 2nd Eastern Economic Forum.
It aims to strengthen the links between the international investor community, Russian enterprises, and local, regional, and federal administrations, to comprehensively evaluate the Far Eastern region’s economic potential, and to introduce new conditions for trade and investment activities, prioritized areas, and the state support for potential investment projects. As part of the forum, feasible projects by Russian and foreign investors will be introduced. President Vladimir Putin will attend the opening ceremony.
